Enhancing Your Dog’s Overnight Boarding Stay

Is your dog staying the night with us soon? Enhance their overnight stay by adding on some extra fun! Our overnight dog boarding services in Midtown Detroit, Eastside Detroit, Ferndale, and Commerce Township are designed to cater to every dog’s needs and preferences. Here’s how we ensure your furry friend has the best possible stay.

Slumber Pawty of the Month

Give your dog a special experience during their overnight stay with our Slumber Pawty of the Month package! This rotating monthly add-on includes cozy comforts, engaging enrichment, and a sweet bedtime routine to help your pup feel right at home.

For an extra $20/night for Group Play, or $10/night for Pawsitive Enrichment, your dog will receive:

• The Kong of the Month (pumpkin available upon request)

• The Activity of the Month, like Puddle Jumping, Doggie Burrito, or Asteroid Toss (or choose a late-night potty break instead)

• A photo added to your customer portal, with a texted link so you can check in

• A bedtime Treat & Tuck-In, featuring a whipped cream pup-cup with a Milk-Bone, and a few calming moments with our staff to help them settle in for the night

This add-on is a great way to give your dog extra attention, stimulation, and comfort while you’re away — especially during longer stays, busy holidays, or their first time boarding.

You can add it to select nights or your dog’s entire stay — it’s up to you!

Text Message Pupdates

If you’d prefer to stay updated without the extra services, the Text Message Pupdates service can be added on for just $5/day. Your dog will receive:

• A full day of play for Group Play dogs, or 3 enrichment sessions for Pawsitive Enrichment
• A picture and update texted to you each day you sign up!

Enhance your dog’s stay with these additional services:

• Stuffed Kongs: These provide an enrichment activity that keeps dogs busy, reduces stress and anxiety, and most importantly – they’re delicious.
• Protein Power Bowls: Perfect if your dog needs a heartier snack during their stay. Offered in puzzle feeders with white rice, canned pumpkin, and your choice of vegetarian or chicken.
• Frozen Pooch Pops: Only available June – September, this frozen beef bone broth locally made!
• Holiday Feasts: If your dog’s boarding stay lands on a holiday, keep an eye out for our special holiday feasts! We offer fun snack like Thanksgiving Dinner.
• Bathing and Spa Services: Before your dog departs, Canine To Five has bathing services available at all 4 locations. We can give your pup a bath, ear cleaning, brush out, nail trim, teeth brushing, de-shedding treatment, and more! If you’re a Commerce Township or Midtown Detroit client, we can fit your furry friend in for a haircut in our salon, too!
• Activities & Promotions: Your dog’s stay might fall on one of our special event days! These can include foam parties, bubbles days, photoshoots, or discount days. Check our calendar to see what is coming up soon!
