On Sunday, April 6, members of both the Canine To Five Detroit and the Canine To Five Ferndale teams got certified in Pet CPR, taught by our friend Catherine from Canine Crews in Chicago.

The safety and well being of your dog is our number one priority at Canine To Five and regular classes like this help our Pack Leaders recognize any signs of illness or injury and act accordingly.

Here’s what our team had to say about the class yesterday:

“The primary pet assessment ( PPA ) is great way to let my fellow pack leaders that something is going on while letting me focus on the urgent situation in front of me.Alex, Detroit

“I really liked the make your own muzzle. It’s a great way to protect your self and the dog when you may not be prepared.” – Shannon, Detroit

“The fact that I learned dog CPR & first aid training before human CPR, represents how much I value canines. I now feel better prepared for any emergency situation that I may come across concerning the animals’ safety at Canine to Five Detroit.  It was a great course!” Nicole, Detroit
